Development of Voodudes
A team of 15 developers created Voodudes over a period of four months in the Unreal Development Kit. Voodudes is a 3rd person action game where players must save 1920s New Orleans from the evil clutches of Baron Samedi.

Design of Market District
Each of the five level designers on the project created a uniquely themed district as their level. For my level theme I chose the Market District, a lively environment with many shops, restaurants and street vendors.

Lighting in the Market District
I received several compliments on how I setup my lighting for the Market District. My lead artist commented, "Dallas' lighting is so pretty, it should be the standard for the entire game." -Lead Artist Ashleigh Mills

Setting Up Props in the Level
I enjoy seeing the evolution of a space from a simple basic layout to a decorative themed area. On Voodudes I was assigned several tasks to prop areas and make them visually appealing.

Bomb Hazards
The Bomber Warden can summon bomb hazards anywhere in the Market District level.

Working with BSP
The Clock Tower is a unique landmark in the Market District and it is composed mostly of simple BSP brushes.

Interesting Enemy Encounters
Great amounts of time and effort were dedicated to the balancing of each enemy encounter.

Market District Cinematics
I created the four cinematic Matinee sequences in the Market District level.

Bomber Warden Fight
At the end of the Market District players encountered the Bomber Warden in an arena style fight.
